After eight winless NPL East matches- Bridlington Town celebrated victory over neighbours North Ferriby on Easter Monday.
Adie Costello's had reached the East Riding Senior Cup Final again- in which they'll play Ferriby- but had been without a league win for eight matches.
Ali Aydemir gave them the perfect start with an opening goal inside five minutes at the Hudgell Solicitor Stadium.
Ferriby levelled eight minutes before the interval, but talisman Andy Norfolk netted on the stroke of half-time with what proved to be the winner.
Brid now have a nine-point cushion between themselves and the division's relegation zone.
Costello gave Brid Town TV his reaction at full-time:
Brid are back at home on Saturday, when Newton Aycliffe provide the opposition, in NPL East, with a 3pm kick-off.
