North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in Crossgates, Scarborough.
The victim, an Iceland delivery driver, was making a delivery when a verbal altercation occurred between him and another man.
The suspect is believed to have reversed his vehicle into the victim, striking him in the leg, before driving away.
The victim suffered minor injuries which did not require medical attention.
It happened on Blackbird Way at 11am on Friday 15 April 2021.
The suspect is described as
- White, aged 35 to 45 and of medium build.
- He is around 5ft 10ins tall with short black hair.
- He was wearing dark blue jeans and a dark top.
His vehicle was a black Peugeot. Unfortunately the victim was unable to obtain the registration number.
Officers say:
"We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, we are appealing for information about the suspect that may assist in identifying him.
