Business on North Street in Scarborough say they are still open after part of the road was closed due to a dangerous building.
The Black Lion Hotel say they are open as usual, they say:
Please note that due to the
dangerous building part of North Street is closed off, you can not get thought from the main street but you can use the ally way at the side of savers or use water House Lane.
We are all open as normal so there need to miss us out.
Local people say the building has been "abandoned for far too long" and "left to rot" A number of businesses on North Street have taken to social media to highlight that they are still open despite the partial closure of the street.
