Pupils at Hunmanby Primary School have been dancing to remember fellow pupil Elsie.
Elsie loved rainbows and reading. Those are some of the memories of her young classmates who have today been taking part in a dance-a-thon to raise funds for a Reading Shed to built in her memory.
Elsie recently lost her battle with a rare tissue cancer. Today the pupils at Hunmanby Primary were remembering her in a bright and fun way with a sponsored dance-a-thon.
Elsie's class teacher, Mrs Pearson, told Paddy that the whole school was taking part in the special event today.
Heidi and Isabelle told Paddy what they were doing today and why they are raising funds.
Mrs Pearson says the dance-a-thon will help to raise some of the funds needed to build Elsie's reading shed.
