North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue have confirmed a single vehicle collision on Ramshill Road in Scarborough.
It happened on Friday afternoon around 2.30pm.
They say a fire crew from Scarborough attended a single vehicle road traffic collision.
They made the scene safe by disconnecting the battery and left the male casualty in the care of ambulance crew.
