The county continues to record high numbers of new COVID cases.
There are still around 170 COVID cases in North Yorkshire's hospitals and the county is continuing to see COVID deaths on a weekly basis.
The seven day infection rates in the county remain above the national average with most confirmed cases in school age children and the over 65's
Public Health consultant Dr Victoria Turner says cases have been creeping up in recent weeks.
The latest numbers show there are around 400 new confirmed cases of COVID a day in North Yorkshire with around 73 a day in the Scarborough Borough.
