Bridlington Town Council are asking the public to report any vandalism they see in the town.
The council says that over the past 3 months they have had to replace toilet toll dispensers at the facilities on the corner of St John Street and High Street five times following acts of vandalism at a considerable cost in both time and money.
Similar incidents last year lead to the toilets being closed while repairs were carried out, some thing the council says it is keen to avoid with the busy summer season approaching.
The council said:
"Previously we have had to close the Toilets for a period of time whilst repairs have taken place and we make the toilets into a usable space for all again.
These are the only public facilities in the Old Town area, and with a program of events planned for the coming months I am sure will be a vital service.
Please report any damage/vandalism to the Town Council at 2a Marshall Avenue or by calling 01262 409006, if you witness an incident then please call the Police on 101
Thank you for your Support."
