There are concerns that volunteer library staff in North Yorkshire are being expected to deliver County Council-led events for which they have little or no training.
Councillor Bob Packham is a volunteer at his local library and says the recent mental health awareness week was a good example of the problem:
Volunteer Library staff in North Yorkshire are being asked to deliver events for which they have little or no training.
That's the view of Cllr Packham.
He feels the council is asking the volunteers to deliver important campaigns without the necessary support:
