Chief Constable defends North Yorkshire Speed Cameras

North Yorkshire's Chief Constable has defended the use of mobile speed cameras in the county.

The North Yorkshire force doesn't have any fixed cameras.

Chief Constable - Lisa Winward - says the mobile units provide greater flexibility.

North Yorkshire Police relying entirely on a fleet of mobile units to deliver their speed camera operations

Chief Constable Lisa Winward says being able to deploy the camera's to different locations has some big advantages.
