A number of berths could be moved to help improve pedestrian safety.
Changes to Filey's coble landing are on the way following the approval in September of an extension to the Lifeboat House.
The plans will see the lifeboat station being extended by two and a half meters at the front of the building.
Scarborough Borough Harbour Master - Chris Burrows - says other changes are now being made to Coble Landing including moving berthing positions in order to improve pedestrian safety in the area.
Concerns had been raised at Scarborough Borough Council's planning meeting in September that the extension to the lifeboat house would "severely limit" vehicular access at Coble Landing and would create a “conflict” between pedestrians and drivers.
Scarborough Borough Harbour Master - Chris Burrows - says that those worries combined with other long-term concerns are leading them to look at some changes.
