The end of May 2022, marks 75 years of service that the Yorkshire Belle has given to the town of Bridlington and it’s visitors.
To mark this event, East Riding Council have agreed that a Civic Reception and presentation will be made on Sunday afternoon and a mini cruise will take place with the Mayor and invited guests.
Skipper Peter Richardson says the belle is Bridlington through and through:
The local authority say people are asked to give the boat at least a good shout from the jetty on the day or join one of the earlier cruises, it would be appreciated.
Peter says the vessel has spent it's entire life in the town:
It's a busy time for the Yorkshire Belle, as it’s involved in a flotilla on the Humber next week to celebrate the Queen's platinum jubilee.
