The Bridlington Round Table has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the community for their overwhelming support during this year’s Santa’s Sleigh initiative, which has proven to be a resounding success.
In a message shared on their Facebook page, the organisation thanked the dedicated members and volunteers who braved all weather conditions to bring festive cheer to the town. "Your dedication truly makes a difference," they stated, highlighting the commitment of those who contributed their time and effort for the benefit of the community.
The Round Table also extended their appreciation to the sponsors, acknowledging that their support was crucial in making the event possible. "You helped us bring smiles, laughter, and Christmas cheer to so many faces," they noted, emphasising the collaborative spirit that underpinned the initiative.
The most significant thanks were directed towards the residents of Bridlington."Thank you to everyone who donated, came out of their homes, or took a few steps down the street just to say hello," the message read. This appreciation reflects the strong community bonds that characterise the town, with the Round Table recognising that such generosity and kindness are what make Bridlington special.
The fundraising efforts culminated in an impressive total of £8,756.50, all of which will be reinvested into the community to support those in need. The Round Table encouraged anyone requiring assistance to reach out, reinforcing their commitment to helping local residents during challenging times.
