All but one goal came in the first half as Brid lost a five-goal thriller up north on Saturday.
They were beaten in Northumberland where all five goals came in the opening 51 minutes.
Sam Leverett put Denny Ingram's men ahead inside 11 minutes, only for hosts Ashington to level on 25.
Leverett reinstated 18th-placed Brid's advantage on the half hour but the Colliers made it 2-2 six minutes before half-time.
They then won it six minutes into the second half.
