Brid Town Beaten Despite Early Day Strike

The Seasiders started brightly but were brushed aside at the Mounting Systems Stadium.

Former Scarborough Athletic and Whitby Town striker Jake Day broke the deadlock for Bridlington Town against Ossett United in NPL East.

However, the West Yorkshire visitors turned it around within three minutes, they levelled, and on 26 minutes, they were ahead.

A decisive third followed three minutes into the second half as Brid suffered back to back defeats.
