Michael Thompson's men found themselves 3-0 down inside the opening 20 minutes.
Even the introduction of the fit-again Michael Coulson on the hour didn't get Brid back into the game.
Hosts Consett made sure of the win in the final minute with a killer fourth.
Brid are still inside the NPL East's bottom four but only on goal difference.
