Brid fell 2-0 down early on, but roared back with two goals in as many minutes at the end of the first half.
Alex Markham netted his first goal for Brid before Freddie Allen levelled in injury time just before the interval.
However, the Tyne & Wear hosts won it after the break.
Brid start their NPL East campaign next Saturday at home to Carlton Town.
