Bridlington Town were unable to beat a second County Durham side in as many weeks.
Instead Denny Ingram's men lost 2-1 at the Mounting Systems stadium, to Consett in NPL East.
It was a far cry from last week's 4-3 epic at Bishop Auckland.
Simon Leverett netted from the penalty spot, in the final minute, but it proved to little too late.
