Scarborough scored two late goals at home against a physical Alfreton Town side to strengthen their postition in the playoff positions.
Boro were poor in the first half, with the Derbyshire visitors enjoying most of the posession, but neither team created much in front of goal.
Scarborough played much better in the 2nd half and in the 79th minute, the impressive MOTM Kieran Glynn was fouled in the penalty area after some dazzling skill.
Captain Michael Coulson scored from the penalty spot to put the Seadogs in the lead.
