North Yorkshire Police say a body has been found during the search for a missing Scarborough man.
A Royal Air Force Mountain Rescue Service team searching for the 54 year-old missing man from Scarborough, have sadly discovered a body in woodland near Knipe Point, Scarborough.
The family of the man have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Local police officers are asking that the privacy of the family is respected at this extremely difficult time.
They have thanked everyone who shared and supported the appeal to find him.
