The Seasiders led inside 18 minutes when Danny Rowe craned his neck backwards to head home Lewis Hawkins' pinpoint right-wing cross.
It was two moments before half-time when Junior Mondal fired a 20-yard free-kick into the top-right corner.
The third was another set piece this time it was Priestley Griffiths slamming home from similar range on 72 minutes.
The hosts then bundled home two last minute strikes to give the scoreline a flattering edge that didn't tell the full story.
