Whitby Town's FA Cup dream is over after a 2-0 defeat at York City, on Saturday.
Veteran former Hull City striker Clayton Donaldson struck twice in the first half to see National North City impose their one-division advantage over the Seasiders, who made £7,500 from their cup run. They'll also have half the gate receipts from the 2,200 crowd at the LNER Community Stadium.
City will now advance to the final qualifying round before League One and League Two clubs enter in the First Round proper.
Elsewhere, a late Nathan Cartman goal rescued a 1-1 draw for Scarborough Athletic, in the NPL Premier, against Mickleover Sports.
Earlier, Ryan Whitley had produced a crucial first-half penalty save before Sports led after the break.
The Seadogs have lost five of their last six outings. Tuesday's scheduled home clash with Atherton has been postponed due to Boro's opponents having an FA Cup replay.
In NPL East, Bridlington Town clinched a 4-2 victory over Lincoln United thanks to player-manager Brett Agnew's hat-trick.
Set-piece expert Andy Norfolk was also on the scoresheet as Brid moved up to fourth-bottom with their second win of the season.
