Blues Brad All Over After Atherton Win

Brad Fewster was the hero as Whitby Town beat Atherton by a goal to nil on Saturday.

The Seasiders have often struggled against fellow bottom-half sides this season but fought hard to come away with a 1-0 victory at the Towbar Express Stadium.

Former Middlesbrough marksman Fewster scored the only goal, with 20 minutes remaining, firing home from Jake Day's knock down.

Town exited the NPL Premier bottom four with the crucial win.

Ex-Scarborough Athletic striker Connor Simpson made his debut after signing on Friday, he spoke to Whitby Town TV post-match:
