Blues Boosted By Back to Back Wins

Whitby Town pulled off successive league wins for the first time this season and moved up in the process.

Nathan Haslam's men are up to 17th in the NPL Premier, though still just two points away from the relegation zone.

After last week's 1-0 win over Atherton, they beat another rival club in second-bottom Liversedge 3-0, on Saturday,

Former Scarborough Athletic and Bridlington Town striker Jake Day netted twice, with defender Harrison Beeden also on target.

A delighted Day spoke to Whitby Town TV after his match-winning brace:
