The company operating the communications mast at Bilsdale say they aren't just handing out vouchers to those in so-called not-spots across North Yorkshire.
Arqiva CEO Paul Donovan revealed 90,000 people have accessed the Freeview or Bilsdale Mast websites and 8,500 have called the company's freephone line and spoken to an agent.
The main queries related to re-tuning their TV and repointing their aerial.
Mr Donovan also said that 15,000 homes, in so-called 'not spots' who couldn't receive any signal, have been sent a £50 Currys voucher, which covers the cost of an internet device to go in their TV, with more than 1,000 homes having redeemed the offer.
He also said Arqiva were looking to identify in-fill sites to put areas outside range of the new temporary mast at Bilsdale into range. He said their charity partners will also be speaking to vulnerable people to assist them getting back their TV coverage.
The mast at Bilsdale stood from 1969 until this past summer when a lightning strike caused permanent damage and the structure had to be safely dismantled. Since then a new smaller temporary mast has replaced it leading to some homes losing signal completely and others losing selected channels.
