The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was deployed near Bridlington yesterday.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust responded to reports of a gentleman who had sustained potentially serious injuries while clearing trees in woodland west of Bridlington.
The ambulance service had a crew on the ground along with an aircraft from Yorkshire Air Ambulance, they called on the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue team to provide assistance in case a protracted carry out was needed from the woods.
The Mountain Rescue Team say :
"We had team members and vehicles travelling when we were advised that those on scene had managed the extraction. The team were deployed for 45 minutes."
