The A64 will be closed westbound overnight on Friday
The A64 will be closed westbound between Brambling Fields and Musley Bank on Friday night to remove the temporary safety barriers.
The closure will start at 8pm on Friday 10th September with the road reopening at 6am on Saturday.
The closure will be for one night only.
It is the last closure related to barrier renewal work which National Highways have been carrying out this summer, however there will be lane closures and temp traffic signals in use this month to complete the remaining work.
The work has been carried out due to the safety barrier reaching the end of its life at various locations on the A64 near Malton.
Drivers planning to use the A64 during these works are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and follow the clearly signed diversion routes.
