The A64 has now fully reopened after a serious collision last night.
The A64 was closed for several hours last night after a serious collision involving two vehicles at Flaxton.
The incident happened at 8pm opposite Jinnah restaurant near Harton.The air ambulance was called to the scene.
The road was closed between the A169 at Malton and the A1237 at York, it is now fully reopen.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police. Dial 101, press 1 and pass information on to the Force Control Room, quoting reference number NYP-24082021-0479.
