Police say the road is fully closed.
The A64 at West Heslerton is currently closed in both directions while emergency services attend a road traffic collision.
Police say that Thankfully no one is injured but the road is expected to be closed for the next couple of hours.
They are asking drivers to avoid the area or find an alternative route
