Organisers of tomorrow's Scarborough Jobs Fair say business confidence is bouncing back in the Yorkshire Coast jobs market.
The annual jobs fair has gone online this year and will be taking pl;ace on Facebook from 10am to 12noon on Wednesday (March 10th).
Jane Elsworth Barker from Aspire-igen and Dave Waller from Job Center Plus say the announcement of the roadmap out of lockdown has had a big impact on employers confidence and say there has been a sudden surge in the number of employers looking to recruit.
Dave says the job fair will be taking on a virtual form this year and explains how that will work.
The main event is happening on Facebook between 10am and 12noon, but Jane says there are lots of other ways of getting the information.
Dave says the employment situation on the Yorkshire Coast is not as bleak as people might think as we head out of lockdown, he says there are jobs available and the Kickstart scheme is helping to create roles for younger workers.
The free to attend event is happening on the Scarborough Job Fair Facebook page
