Health bosses say it's too soon to tell what impact the Bank Holiday weekend had on the numbers.
The number of Covid-19 patients in Scarborough Hospital has risen in the last week despite the overall number of people needing treatment across North Yorkshire falling.
There are now 126 Covid-positive patients in North Yorkshire’s hospitals, which is down five on this time last week.
But at Scarborough there are now 14 patients, an increase of six.
North Yorkshire's Director of Public Health, Louise Wallace, says the infection rates remain high across the county.
North Yorkshire's COVID infection rate remains higher than the all England average and the rate in the Scarborough Borough is the second highest in the county.

Louise Wallace says its too soon to tell if the Bank Holiday weekend had any effect.
