A quarter of all antisocial behaviour incidents in the Scarborough Borough during lockdown were related to school age children according to North Yorkshire's Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner.
Reports of Antisocial behaviour in the Scarborough Borough increased significantly during lockdown with the borough consistently seeing more COVID fines issued than other districts in North Yorkshire.
Philip Allott says around a quarter of the incidents were related to school age children and says he's working on a plan to tackle that.
Philip Allott says the Scarborough borough appeared to be a particular hotspot for reports of Anti Social Behaviour with a big increase in reports during the lockdowns.
The commissioner says he plans to role out an engagement exercise in schools in September.
