The Lounge at Beckview Studios: DEC 5th - Rocketsmith, Dan Halsey and Griffin

The 5th edition of 'The Lounge' will take place in December to round off a brilliant year of live events at the studio!

Over the past year so far we've welcomed original artists of all types, sizes and inspirations to perform with a live studio audience, captured and streamed live from our YouTube channel.

And this time we have the likes of:

What do you get when you cross a farmer, a tiler, an intelligence manager, a highways consultant… and 25+ years of real life?

@rocketsmithband

This is ‘Real Life’ rock — songs built from experience, not theory.
If you’re human, you’ll recognise it straight away.
The highs. The setbacks. The graft. The doubt. The fight back.
Rocketsmith don’t write fantasy — they write about life as it actually is.

Griffin grew up listening to a variety of musicians and genres that have played an influential role in shaping his signature sound. Among others, influences such as James Taylor, Bonnie Rait, Jim Croce, Marty Robbins, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, Beatles and many other notable musicians have set foot on his ears and heart. Griffin weaves the old with the new, while combining ancient folk tunes with world music, putting in a little bit of his own beak and paws.
