The Big Paint Project - We are going to create a huge painting - made up of many canvas squares, all individually painted by members of the community.
How about an indoor activity while the weather is cold, or a christmas gift idea?
The Big Paint Project.
The big paint project is a partnership with Sandra Hood Can't paint classes at Nafferton, in support of Cloughton, Staintondale and Ravenscar churches.
We are going to create a huge painting - made up of many canvas squares (15cm x 15cm) all individually painted by members of the community, in the comfort of your own home and this is suitable for all abilities.
The end result is presently a secret and the 'big picture' will be revealed in the near future, hopefully Jan/Feb 2026.
Your contribution will be to purchase a paint pack containing a canvas, a section of the picture to copy and paint and a pack of paints. At your leisure, paint by copying the section of the picture you have been given, and once completed hand this back in. This is suitable for all abilities.
Once all the painted canvas are handed back in ( very relaxed on this) These will be put together to create a huge painting and you will be invited to come along to the unveiling.
