Scarborough Air Cadets will be hosting an information evening for those interested in supporting our young people by joining our Welfare Committee.

Scarborough Air Cadets is a military-sponsored youth organisation with links to the Royal Air Force. We offer young people of Scarborough a range of opportunities they might not find elsewhere, including flying, gliding, adventure training, sports, shooting, fieldcraft and more.
Working behind-the-scenes is our Welfare Committee, responsible for finances, fundraising, welfare of cadets & staff and compliance with charitable law. The unit cannot exist without a Welfare Committee.
We are looking for volunteers to join our Committee in the roles of Treasurer, Secretary and ordinary voting member. The minimum commitment is just a couple of hours every few weeks but many people go on to volunteer more than this in support of our fundraising initiatives and local community events.
